Born out of the 50-year tradition of the Bellevue Art Museum’s Pacific Northwest Arts Fair, this 37,000 square-foot museum was designed to create an iinviting, nteractive, ever-changing, educational urban center that could become a cultural cornerstone of Bellevue. A substantial renovation was completed in 2005 when the Museum changed its focus to showcasing top local and international arts, crafts, and design. Sclater Architects participated as the associate architect with Steven Holl Architects of New York.
